Communications

Schooley's Mountain Fire is 1 of 3 fire companies within Washington Twp., Morris County.

All 3 companies are dispatched and respond on channels through the Morris County Communications Center.

Communications are provided on the county's county-wide 700MHz simulcast trunked radio system.

Fire companies within Washington Twp. respond on the "MC FIRE 1" channel, along with Chester, Mendham Boro, Mendham Twp, and Randolph. 

Each truck is outfitted with a Motorola APX8500 All-Band radio with dual E5 heads, and 6 Motorola APX8000XE portable radios. 

Each truck is also outfitted with an additional Motorola VHF CDM1250 radio in order to talk to Warren County, Mt. Olive, and NJSP (SPEN).
