Membership

The Fire Company is always looking for new members.  If you are interested in helping your community, stop by the station any Monday at 7 P.M. for an application. Any interested members that do not have a firefighter certification in New Jersey will be required to attend the fire academy at no cost to the potential firefighter. 

General Requirements:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age (Juniors 16)

• Must work or reside in Washington Township, Morris County

• Must successfully complete 180 hour Firefighter I training within one year of joining

• Shall be in possession of a valid New Jersey driver’s license

• Shall have a physical examination, current within the last year, by a licensed physician in the State of New Jersey

• Shall complete a department application form

• Must be able to maintain established percentages of calls, drills, and details
